This
sweet Margarete Teddy Bear was created by Steiff as the 2009 Club bear.  Margarete is made from fine white alpaca with hand-stitched nose, mouth and claws, is fully jointed, and stands 35cm (13-1/2") tall.  She wears an antique-style metal pendant around her neck showing a photo of Margarete Steiff holding her beloved teddy bear.  On the back of the pendant is etched "In Memoriam 1909 - 2009".  Margarete comes with her very own hard-bound scrapbook, approximately 10" x 6.5", filled with 34 pages of historical stories and original photos from Margarete's life, which only comes with this teddy bear.
Margarete is complete with her white buttoned-ear tag #420009, and all accessories; certificate, Steiff box and outer shipping carton.  She is #1840 out of a Limited Edition of only 3,000 bears.  Margarete and her scrapbook are brand new.
