Description

This Lebanese designer is not yet 50 years old, but he has
taken
the world by storm. I am increasingly reluctant to purchase non
vintage pieces; that thought went right out the window when I
saw this! The lightweight fabric is a Silk blend with the same sheer
chiffon look and feel, and a bit of sparkle and strength for this fitted
gown. Labeled a 6, it is a comfortable size 2 and fits snugly on my
size 4 mannequin. Hand stitched sequined appliques are brilliant.
Very small spaghetti straps, there is a Satin ribbon at the empire
waistline, much higher than the waist itself. The drape of the gown
is spectacular, it just cascades with flutters over a gentle slit. The
construction is perfect, an architectual vision. Fully lined.
