The bonus works but needs some wiring work and has some blade damage that doesn't seem to effect it when running. Someone bypassed the switch on the bonus fan and ran the cord directly to the fan motor. The base on the bonus is broken (should be pictured) and solid and is missing a cover/plate on the bottom. Someone marked the base FURNACE DEPT and looks like EATON. There is paint overspray on the Dayton fan blades.

    Description

Local pick-up only...THERE IS NO FREE SHIPPING NO MATTER HOW EBAY MIGHT SHOW LOCAL PICK-UP. I am located in far northwestern Ohio and about 5 minutes off the local Ohio Turnpike Exit...zip 43518 Edon, Ohio for those that might want to get a better idea for travel plans.
You can arrange pick-up with anyone you like. I have had several people send USHIP in to pick something up.
Vintage heavy duty Dayton "WHIRLWIND" Industrial Fan and a small Westinghouse Bonus fan at time of pick-up. I don't see any tag on the Dayton fan so I don't know H.P. or Model Number. The Dayton fan is adjustable up and down and can me moved from side to side easily...the fan can by adjusted at an angle up or down by loosening a nut/bolt combo. This large fan really blows the air...is a single speed with no switch and comes on when plugged in. The little Westinghouse fan needs some wiring work if you want to have variable speed and is a bonus only for parts or repair...it too blows good air. I pictured the tag on the Westinghouse so you can see what it is. The cords and plugs on both are nice.
The Dayton fan has about an 18" blade and
adjusts from 55" to 82". The base measures about 19 3/4" diameter. The Dayton weighs right at 45 pounds. The motor and attaches post weighs about 25 pounds and the base section 20 pounds.
The Westinghouse has about a 12" blade. The blade is not metal, aluminum, or plastic...not sure but it looks like some kind of composite material.
Someone bypassed the switch on the bonus fan and ran the cord directly to the fan motor. I am guessing it was a 3 speed but now it is just 1 speed.
Rust and wear and blade damage as mentioned. Both fans will clean up some very easily. I am about to list a large industrial Exhaust Fan with a GE motor...maybe you would just like to get a load while here and I would give a discount for multiple purchases..
I will be testing the large fan until it is picked up and will update if there are any changes. Has really helped in this hot weather doing brake work...will be sad to see it go.
If you need additional pictures or information just let me know.
