Up for your consideration is a vintage 1984-1986 jointed dark brown mohair STEIFF ORIGINAL TEDDYBAR with all ID, in excellent condition. This bear has only been used for display, NOT play. This bear has two dark eyes and a black stitched nose/mouth. The body and head are covered with dark brown mohair. This bear wears the original red ribbon around the neck. All IDs are present and in good shape. They include 1) a crisp round chest tag that reads STEIFF ORIGINAL TEDDYBAR KNOPF IM OHR 2) a yellow ear tag that reads STEIFF 0206/14 Made In WESTERN GERMANY 50% WOOL 50% COTTON 3) a metal STEIFF button in the ear 4) a STEIFF booklet that gives cleaning instructions for Genuine Mohair fabric. The yellow tag is signed by ? (hard to read). When bear is sitting, it is 4" high and with legs straight, it is 5.25" (14cm) long. The arms/legs are jointed and the head turns. Includes a good used STEIFF box. This bear is on p.385 of the STEIFF Sortiment book (see pic). Comes from a smoke free home. Payment is due at the end of sale, through PayPal.
