Vintage Ox Yoke Inn Amana Colonies Iowa Stoneware Mug Beer Stein

VINTAGE AMANA COLONIES IOWA OX YOKE INN STONEWARE MUG
I believe I picked this nifty mug up in the Amanas in the 1970’s.
It has a few problems, but would look nice as a souvenir on a shelf or even filled with pens or artificial flowers.
I’m not sure how well it would hold any liquids.

The mug measures about 5” tall

The base diameter is about 4 ¼” and the top opening diameter is about 2 ¾”

It is a speckled grey-white in color and I believe is made of what is called stoneware.  (If I am wrong, I hope some eBay expert out there will correct me.)

Written in blue is “OX YOKE INN” above a picture of two oxen yoked together and under which is printed “AMANA, IOWA.”

Stamped into the bottom is a maple leaf and “USA.”

Unfortunately there are two cracks in the mug and one of them ends in a chip on the lip. Please see the photo for details.
