Vintage IDEOR ASSO Italian 10 speed road bike.  Please look at photos as they are part of description.
Professional model.  59cm.   Made in Italy.  Ideor stopped production in late 1962.  The last bikes were imported and sold by Montrose Bike Shop in Montrose, California.  In extremely nice restored condition.  Complete and as original.
I have owned this since 1968.  Ridden many miles until around 1980 when it was put into storage.  Never crashed or damaged.  Disassembled for CyclArt paint job in 1989.  Restoration done in 2021.  Wrapped up and put in storage until now.  Never ridden since finished.
Columbus tubing.  Chrome plated frame and fork ends.  High quality plating done at Christensen and Sherms plating.
CyclArt paint work and as original decals.  Paint is VERY nice with NO damage or visible aging.  Frame was checked and found to be straight and undamaged.  Braze on cable fittings.
All parts are excellent original parts with great plating or beautifully professionally polished alloy.  All hardware is fresh and correct with no visible damage.
Very nice Ideor badge with original paint.
Campagnolo Gran Sport derailleurs.  Front is NOS.  Rear is excellent original.
Magistroni Senior crank set.  50 and 45 chain rings.
MAFAC Dural brakes that are as new.  NOS MAFAC lever hoods.  NOS ribbed cable covers.  New cables.
Original IDEOR script headset and IDEOR / Magistroni script seat post clamp.
Ambrosio script stem and handle bars.  NOS made in Italy red cloth handle bar tape.  NOS Velox bar ends.
Excellent Campagnolo Record pedals with nice Christophe Special toe straps.
Quick release Campagnolo High Flange hubs.  Fiamme tubular alloy rims.  Stainless spokes that are tied and soldered.
Wheels have beautiful alloy surfaces with no pitting or damage.  Very straight with NO damage.  Fresh Fiamme decals.
Vintage good quality Hutchinson sew up tires.  They are about 20 years old but never ridden on.  They look very vintage and hold air for about 3 days.  Tires have not been glued on so they can be dealt with by new owner.
Vintage Italian Unicanitor saddle mounted on an unbranded alloy post.  Seat has wear patina but no visible damage.
NOS Regina chain and smooth Regina rear gear cluster.
Very nice Ideor that displays beautifully!  Great addition to any Vintage Road Bike collection.
Bike will be partially disassembled for packing.  Everything works OK on repair stand.  Will probably need to be fined tuned to ride.
