Being offered is a Vintage GE Automatic Dual Twin Blade Window Ventilator-Fan.
I purchased this fan about 20 years ago and have used it on and off since then. Selling as is! It is in the same condition now as when I purchased it. I cleaned it and have kept it inside when not in use. There is rust to the metal box and chrome plated screens. It has works great and have never had any issues. I do not understand how the thermostat works but when using the fan it turn the Thermostat dial to the "ON' position. If
I turn the dial down it will cut off the fan in the 7 to 8 range. ? The dials appear to have been touched with something hot and they both have melted spots to them. The rubber-like covering to the handle is showing age related wear with minor cracking. The fan had four hard rubber feet on the bottom and the two on the front edge have been cut off...I found some hard rubber pieces (will be shipped with fan) that could be used to replace the missing feet but they will need to be counter-bored to
accommodate the screw head.....SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR DETAILS. I have more photos to share....just give me a shout.
Note Of Caution :
This is a very high speed fan! It is to used in a window as intended. Do not use it where it can suck curtains, drapes, or anything loose in to the back screens for this will damage the fan motors. Use caution when operating around children!
