VINTAGE 70's SUPER HIGH WAIST BLACK VELVET PANTS W/ FRONT YOKE & PLEATS~SMALL

Description

Lovely 70's vintage black velvet pants.
These straight-legs pants are fitted at the top, a bit wider in the hips, then taper to the ankles.  The waist is very high, will fit at or a bit above your natural waist.  V-d yoke in front with pleats gathered at each side, straight yoke in back.  Narrow belt loops, side slash pockets, front zipper.  Unlined.
These were given to me by a friend in the mid-80's.  She bought them in the late 70's and wore them a couple times for special occasions but could no longer fit them.  I wore them once to a party, and they've been in my closet for years.  The labels were cut out when I got them (see last photo), so no idea where they were made or original size.  I've listed them as small, based on the measurements (see below).  The fabric appears to be cotton.
