I also have a Women's 1957 Green Schwinn Hornet listed on eBay while it lasts. These bikes are for local pick up only. If you notify me and you are not to far away i can drive the bike to you, or meet you half way as well in Minnesota. I will not ship this bike.
This bike is in pretty nice condition for its age. It does have some paint loss and some rust spots throughout. There are a few broken spokes but most of them are there. Tires are deflated but look original to the bike.
This doesn't look to ever be repainted. Still has some great looking litho print on the fender. The Bike seat is a Schwinn Mesinger. That is embossed onto the back of the seat. Not a badge.
Brand is Schwinn.
This is a Men's bike.
Model is Tiger.
Serial number is J244439 which I believe dates this to 1962.
The seat is original to the bike. The tires look original but I am not an expert by any means. Still has the kick stand.
Hungerford white handle bar grips.
The bike measures 68" in length. Fender to fender
29" from ground to top of frame
45" from ground to top of handle bars.
26" to the top of the rumble seat above back fender
