Here we have
20 tree saver taps.
These taps use the smaller 5/16 drill bit . They produce just as well as the older 7/16 however are much easier on the tree for recovery. Often times the 5/16 will be complete healed over by the next spring.
You can easily make buckets from what you have around or purchased from a local store. 10 liter pails work well, just drill a 1/2 hole to hook onto.
These are reusable, Simply wash them in hot water!
