. This great bear is blond with bright blue eyes. He has a red ribbon around his neck and on one paw he has Jack Nicklaus' signature, with an American Flag and
U.S. Open Champion
on the other paw. Included is a set of 3 Maxfli Revolution 90 golf balls which were custom made for this Steiff Bear.
This Golden Bear is from a limited edition of 2,000 bears, and he's No. 00401. This is a North American exclusive and first in a series.
Original tag certificate attached to his paw reads:
"Continuing it's tradition of hand-crafting the world's finest Teddy bears and in celebration of one of the world's greatest golfers, Jack Nicklaus, it is fitting that at the end of this century Margarete Steiff GmbH presents - Golden Bear."
The set of 3 golf balls included are Maxfli 2 Revolution balls and each is marked with a Golden Bear, "2 Maxfli Revolution" and "Steiff Button In Ear" picture. The 3 golf balls are in new condition, although the box is worn around the edges.
This cute blond bear is 100% Mohair and almost 16" tall, or 40 cms, and he has the Steiff "button in ear" with white tag and red lettering. He has original tags still attached (see pics for details).
This Steiff Golden Bear and collectible golf balls are in new condition. There is no damage or wear. We are a Steiff Club store and he is new on our shelf, dust and all. He's adorable!
