Steiff Limited Edition Alice Teddybear 42 - No. 2649 / 5000 - Mint in box - NIB
This is a new-in-box Steiff teddy bear in mint condition. The "Alice" Teddy Bear (named for Teddy Roosevelt's oldest daughter) is a limited edition, numbered 2649 out of a production run limited to 5000. The original cost is shown on the label, purchased for 0.00 from Tuesday Morning, but we're cleaning out our basement and are willing to take less out of necessity.
Alice is 16 inches tall and has beautiful blonde mohair tipped with orange, and her ultrasuede paws are embroidered with the commemorative dates of 1903 and 1993 in patriotic colors. Purchased in 1993 and stored in a controlled environment, this bear comes with a certificate from Steiff and has never been out of its original box (see all photos).
