STEIFF DICKY BEAR - 12 INCHES - BUTTON NOT STAMPED FROM FACTORY

Stop that Dicky!  This is probably the most playful bear you could ever own.  He loves playing tricks on his fellow Steiff and rarely sits still.  He could be a problem for you, so take your chances if you will.  Dicky Bear is a copy of the 1930 Dicky which was so popular with children.  They loved the funny smile on his face which makes him approachable and fun to be with.  My Sister purchased this Dicky for me when she visited the Steiff factory in the 1980s.  I was so jealous!  She brought this fellow back for me.  He is unusual in that his gold button is not stamped with the "Steiff" name.  I cannot find the "defect" which made him be rejected for retail, but I suppose he was not up to "par" with the rest of his brothers.  Please give Dicky a good home.  He is anxious about finding a new family, but I'm sure he will relax once he is with you.  He stands a little over 12 inches tall and sits a bit over 9 inches.
