OLMO RACING BICYCLE -- 1980 -- EXCEPTIONAL -- 57cm

Description

This 1980 Olmo is in exceptional just restored condition with a full Campagnolo Gran Sport group in mint condition with very, very minor wear and no wrench marks, road rash, etc.  The frame is true and is free of any damage.  The frame was professionally refinished to 'show quality' in a deep metallic red by Noah Rosen of Velocolour (
velocolour.com)
, without question one of the best bike painters (if not the best) in North America.  The clear coat has been wet sanded and polished to create no upset on the finish around the decals.  Smooooooooth as silk is the best description.
The bike has not been ridden since the restoration was completed.  The wheels were professional rebuilt by La Bicicletta (
labicicletta.com)
on period correct NOS Mavic rims with DT double-butted polished stainless spokes.  The tubular tires have not been glued/taped on to the rims however this can be done before shipping if the buyer chooses.  All bearings were fully cleaned, properly lubricated with waterproof grease and properly reset.  This is a beautiful Olmo with no exceptions and you will not be disappointed.
