Lot of 24 Antique Old English Lettepress Metal Printing Letters Lower Case

This is a Lot of 24 Antique Old English Lower Case Lettepress Metal Printing Letters.
The letters are all lower case.  There are in an Olde English or similar font.  However, they are from at least two different, but similar fonts as seen.  Some of the letter are quite thick and heavy and others are quite thin.  A closeup photo shows several of the letters on edge so you can see these variations.  I do not know if the letter are lead or some other metal, but I tested both types with a magnet and they are non-ferrous metal.
The letters all appear to be of a pretty uniform size relative to each other, but the height varies in the normal manner with respect to tall letters such as b and d versus letters such as a, e, and r.  There are several letters that have duplicates as seen.  Their are relatively vowels, but if you want to use the letters for display, I included photos of a few of a number of words that can be spilled with the letters.  In particular I thought barb and dad might be of interest.
We do not have any information as to the specific age of the letters.

Condition
The letters show minor signs of wear and use, and variation in the patina.  The only specific issue I noted is a crack line across the n as seen in the closeup photo of 'noel' indicated with blue arrows.  There is some variation in the patina in that area that looks like it could be a scorch mark, so I thought perhaps there might have been a welded repair.
