This beautiful frame was built by Guiseppe"Pepe" Limongi. Limongi was born in France, a descendant of Italian immigrants. He built frames for the Renault Elf team of the early 1980's whose riders included Laurent Fignon and Greg Lemond. He also built for Pedro Delgado.
From 1968 to the early 1990s "Pepe" spent time in the U.S. building for Paris-Sport Cycles, the bicycle shop of the Fraysee family of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.  Tom Kellogg trained under Msr. Limongi.  Pepe Limongi eventually moved to Canada and built frames in Trois Rivieres, Quebec.  In the late 1990’s, Giuseppe Limongi sold his business to Cycle Bertrand in Hull, Quebec and then returned to France.

This lovely bicycle is basically unridden and has, I estimate, perhaps a couple of hundred miles as is evidenced by the complete lack of wear on the chainrings, brake pads and the tops of the black Super Leggero Campagnolo pedals.
She is "Tutto Campagnolo" except a lightened Gipiemme seat post and Simplex downtube shift levers… the ratcheted ones…the ones you want!
Furthermore, a Campagnolo Super Record rear derailleur, custom lightened Campagnolo brake levers, high flange clincher wheels, a still soft Turbo saddle and beautiful Brooks leather handlebar tape round out the package .
This is a bike for the true connoisseur that appreciates beauty.  And she is absolutely ready to ride!
