JIM MORRISON PRINT from the Michael Moe Exhibition at the Rourke Art Gallery.
Official print signed by artist Michael Moe, this is number 645 out of 700 as indicated artists hand-written notation and signature.
I don't know how many of the original 700 are still intact, but I saw at least 20 that were destroyed because of severe damage incurred during the chaos of the flooding from the Red River in the late 1990's. At least 20 were still in good condition when I obtained this one, but that was 25 years ago and the only similar i see online appears to be a copy as it doesn't have the print number or artists signature like this one and the others I had been familiar with.
This one is one of the original set and a really cool piece of art.  I would prefer this go to a true collector, whether that be art, music, collectibles, or whatever aspect you prefer to display.
I cannot help but cringe when this is labeled a poster, not to devalue posters... you'll understand what I'm struggling to verbalize when you see this gem first-hand.
That said, this piece has acquired a few battle scars along its journey,  namely some edges are beginning to curl,  and while somewhat faint,  it is apparent that a small amount of rogue coloring with a yellow highlighter was added many years ago. The pictures I posted are accurate though and I think it minor of a blemish, but that's just me of course. Make an offer,  anything fair and promising new life will be accepted.
