  • Condition: Very nice and hard to find Ibis Spanky road bike. Bought the bike on Ebay in 2019, and just have not ridden the bike much. I have done a few short rides, but I am moving on to some other bike projects now. I think Ibis made these bikes in 1998 with Columbus Moron Tubing.     Description

    Very nice and rare Ibis Spanky steel road bike. This bike dates to around 1999. I think they were built in 1999 and 2000.
    I bought the bike on EBay a couple years ago and have gotten into other bike projects now.
    I am 6-2, 225, and the bike frame fits me well.
    The seat tube is 58cm c to c
    The top tube is 57cm c to c
    The head tube is 16cm c to c
    Standover height is 33 inches.
    The weight as shown is 19 pounds -14 oz
    With the frame, I would say 25c tires would be the max. Maybe 26c would fit.
    28 c tires would not fit.
    The frame is in great shape. Not many nicks or marks for its age, although it does have a scratch on the top left side of the top tube though not too noticeable.

    Full Dura Ace 9 Speed with Dura Ace Hubs. 12-21t Dura Ace Cassette.
    The wheels are Mavic CXP33 Clincher rims and in good shape.
    -I also have an extra set of very nice lightly used Campagnolo Neutron Ultra Shimano compatible aluminum clincher wheels with the same (like new with only a few rides) Shimano 9 speed 12-21 Cassette if you are interested in a separate purchase. These are solid fast and more modern wheels, and the Duras Ace cassette is like new with only a few rides.
    New Vittoria 23mm tires:.Vittoria Corsa G2.0 Competition 700 x 23C Full Black Road Bike Clincher Tires. These are great and fast tires, and really look and feel like 25mm tires to me. These really resist flats.
