Tube interiors treated with rust inhibiting wax, original paint, decals, and hand painted name plate. No dents, breaks, or bends. There is some slight paint fading on the forks, which is probably ablation. I have read that the color coat is applied over a silver base coat.

The bicycle is currently in a storage unit. If you are interested in a vintage bicycle such as this, write to me and we can discuss its configuration and details of a transaction. It is not currently fitted with tubes or tires, but I have some fresh Continentals that could be fitted. Local pick up would of course be easiest.  Shipping is not completely out of the question, but would require conversations to coordinate details. I may be able to have a local bike shop box it up and ship it for a reasonable cost.
I have numerous spares available for you to consider depending on the configuration and/or what you buy.  In some cases, such as with pedals, I have an vast assortment of suitable components from which to choose.
I'd like to find an appreciative new owner for this bicycle that I have had a long history with. I first rode it in high school when a classmate bought it new and let me take it for a spin. I loved it. Years later, I saw this man and asked him about it. It turns out he never rode it much and was willing to sell it. I used it routinely for years and eventually added several other bikes to my stable. Once parts became hard to get and sky-rocketed in price, I mostly rode my other bikes. Now, I'd like to reduce the number of my possessions (5 bikes are getting to be a bit much at my age), so I am offering it for sale. You can take your pick between original equipment components or high end upgrades. It is not pristine but it is free of corrosion and in very good to excellent vintage condition. The bike is really cool looking in real life, but does have some minor cosmetic flaws concomitant with its age and usage.  I don't think anyone would be embarrassed to ride it.
You need to write to me before bidding or buying because I have to make arrangements to retrieve it from the storage unit.  It will also be a way to finalize details and options such as component group, spares, etc.

Shipping is only possible if you contact me to make arrangements.  I am mobility impaired at this time and picking up the bike from storage and dropping off at a bike shop for packaging will be a challenge.
