We took down this Fire Tower in Limestone County Alabama.
This Fire Tower is in great condition and can go up “As Is”. All structural materials
are sound. This tower has original NON-SLIP expanded metal stair mesh treads and landings.
The tower was well maintained and has been painted several times during its life.
Observers Cabin is 7’X7’and currently assembled, A new roof is suggested.
Entire tower could be painted to refresh the tower although if installed “As Is” it will
appear to have been there forever in great original condition.
We have all the original Structural Bolts or a New Set of bolts can be purchased for ,400 additional.

THESE WERE DESIGNED FOR COASTAL AND HIGH WIND LOCATIONS MADE EXTRA HEAVY. It is One of Many That used to be used to spot fires, Smokes, in many states to protect Americas Woodlands and our timberlands.
We sold a near  duplicate of this Fire Tower  recently sold for ,000.00 disassembled and ready to be shipped.
This Fire Tower is currently disassembled as pictured and we are the clear title owner of same. The disassembled Fire Tower will be ready to load and ship on May 1st, 2018.
We are insured and experienced to disassemble, ship, restore and re-erect Fire Towers as well as Manufacture replacement parts for AERMOTOR, INTERNATIONAL DERRICK and other types of structural steel Fire Towers. We can oversee the whole project for you from acquisition to finished total restoration and reassembly for public use or on your private site. The Actual tower structure is heavily galvanized steel, the obervers cabin at the top is 7 feet by 7 feet made from galvanized sheet metal walls and roof with windows all around. Entry is by wooden stairs on steel stair stringers and through a trap door in the floor. We will include a set of original blueprints and consulting for re-erecting your Fire Tower. Buyer is responsible for all trucking costs, any and All repairs as may be expected with a 55 year old structure, Foundations and assembly are the total responsibility of the buyer unless other arrangements are made with the Seller to re-errect this Fire Tower. The seller offers consulting and a set of Blueprints with the purchase of this Fire Tower.
We have taken down many Fire Towers and this one is in excellent condition and could be put up "As Is"
The structural steel should be wire brushed and painted prior to reassembly. The windows may need some or all new glass. The cabin floor should be replaced. The cabins sheet metal walls and roof are serviceable but would need to be painted.
This FIRE TOWER will only be sold disassembled and on the ground ready to be loaded a full size flatbed semi-trailer truck. We can package the complete tower into a 40 foot shipping container and ship anywhere world wide with full payment in advance.. There are extra costs associated with the cost of a container and international shipping. Estimated shipping weight is 20,000 pounds for the complete disassembled tower only. Shipping costs are not included but we will work with you to make the most economical arrangements.
