Description
Very rare Brian Baylis Fixed Gear Road Bike.I am not sure how
many Brian made, but there are just a handful out there.
This is not a track
bike drilled for brakes!
Road geometry, much like the Colnago Super he loved so
much.
I commissioned Brian to build this after I saw his own fixed gear
road bike with the gold leaf lugs. That was in 1999/2000.
We went with French blue tubes and what he called periwinkle lugs
with gold lining. About those lugs. If you see
Nervex Pro
good eye. But, look
at how he thinned them. There was a lot of love and filing in these lugs!
I built it up w/o Campy on purpose. See below for the parts
breakdown. I miss Brian, and I will miss this bike when it sells. I don’t ride fixed gear
anymore and maybe it is time to move on so someone else can appreciate it.
I am also donating 10% of the selling price to the
Gary Sinise Foundation
