PLEASE READ THIS!!!!
The fan oscillating function is smooth and sure. The blades have been balanced to the best of the material allowance meaning, a slight amount of material was removed from the blade tips but due to the age of the material and thin blades the balance process was about 90% effective. Due to the ancient bearings there is a small amount of vibration at start up, but reduces to a minor amount at full speed. There is a small rattle during operation that we have minimized to the fullest extent. Really not very bad but we are perfectionists, so we disclose as much information as possible.
We have restored this fan to fit into your kitchen, office, or any other room and add a beautiful accent to wherever you decide to display it. Beware of other "mom & pop" restored units. This piece was professionally restored, you get what you pay for.....
This beautiful piece would add interest and class to any home display. You will not find another piece like this on this forum or anywhere on the net. Pieces like this are usually reserved for high end auction houses.
