7 Vintage Snapshots Photos, All With Horses, Morrison Gates, Probably Iowa 1930s

Up for bid is one lot of seven vintage snapshots, all featuring horses. These black-and-white photos range in size from 2 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches to 3 1/8 by 4 3/4. The woman in the largest photo is identified on the reverse as Aleene Morrison Gates. The man posed on the horse in front of a barn is identified as Ben Morrison. None of the other photos is identified. This group of photos came from a central Iowa estate sale and probably date to the 1930s and '40s. They were either pasted into a scrapbook or held in place with corner tabs. They are in very good condition overall. See my listings for other vintage items.
