1966 SCHWINN STINGRAY FASTBACK VIOLET BICYCLE, SEPT 66, OLD 5 SPEED MUSCLE BIKE

HI, this is a 1966 Schwinn Stingray Fastback, serial number JB10438, built Sept 1966, I believe the bike is original paint, the seat is not a Schwinn Stingray seat but i believe it's from the same time period as this bike, the seat does have some cracks and stains, the bike is missing both front and rear brakes and cables, the caps on the pedals, the shifter, the front fender, the decals are almost all gone on the chain guard, all of the above mentioned is visible in the 12 pictures provided
, some of the chrome parts are pitted, some areas very lightly, others areas a little heavier, again most of it is visible if you zoom in on one of the 12 pictures we provided, the front rim is stamped S5 Schwinn tubular, the front tire is junk, it has a lot of big cracks and is missing tread,
the front tire reads Schwinn tubular 20 x 1 3/8, the rear tire reads Goodyear rib all weather made in USA 20 1 3/8, the
rear is in good used condition,
the bike was bought 10 days ago from the original owner, all we have done is rinse the dirt off and air up the tires, we
realize the bike needs work but we thought it definitely was worth saving,
with all of the above things mentioned the bike will require some parts, service and maintenance to be a reliable rider
