    This bid is for a
    RARE Early
    1950s "Special C.N.C." Made in Paris tandem bicycle, made by "Comptoir National du Cycle". Perfect for that L'Eroica ride.  Frame is elegantly lug-less brazed, and lovingly contoured. The frame shows NO ripples, bends, dents or any kind of metal damage.  Fork is also in great undamaged condition. The paint shows lots of oxidation. And seems easy to shed. Notice left chainstay & extra stay where I used a very mild cleaner, and much of the blue wiped off to show, an under primer, or a different color underneath.  Seems to be all original parts. The Simplex derailleur system dates it approximately 1952 to 1955. The Brooks B17 saddles read as "Made in Great Britain", and show the many years sitting in the rain outside the pub in England where it was a resident until the mid 1960s.
